Frequently Asked Questions

Providing answers to your questions

Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a group of conditions that affect movement, posture, and muscle coordination. It is caused by damage to the developing brain, usually before or shortly after birth. CP is non-progressive, meaning it does not worsen over time.

CP may result from complications during pregnancy, premature birth, lack of oxygen to the brain, infections, or brain injury around the time of birth. In many cases, the exact cause is unknown.

CP is diagnosed through developmental assessments, physical examinations, and medical history. Imaging tests such as MRI may also be used. Early diagnosis helps start therapy at the right time.

We provide comprehensive rehabilitation services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, speech therapy, special education, assistive device support, and family counseling.

We serve children from infancy like 2 to 3 years of age. Therapy programs are customized according to the child’s age, abilities, and needs.

Our center follows a child-centered, multidisciplinary approach with experienced therapists. We focus on long-term functional independence and active family involvement.

Physiotherapy helps improve mobility and strength, occupational therapy enhances daily living skills, and speech therapy supports communication and swallowing. Combined therapy gives the best results.

Progress varies for each child. While CP cannot be cured, therapy significantly improves mobility, communication, independence, and quality of life.

Your child will be treated by qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, and medical professionals working as a team.

We encourage parents to observe and participate by giving them home plans so they can continue supportive exercises at home.
